Good Works

A few nights ago I got on the blog to post something, it was then I realized I was slacking!  We had a fall background and here we are in the middle of winter!  So I spent 3 HOURS putting on that (stupid) snowman and falling snow!  I was so sick of looking at this thing I didn't get to post anything else.  As I sit gazing at this snowman and falling snow I'm still not sure it was worth 3 hours of my time - but oh well - on with life!

One morning I was on the treadmill - not for long mind you!  When I got off I saw this.......

Naughty Doggie!  He chewed the nose right off my Winnie the Pooh angel!  Notice the chew toy right behind him - apparently that wasnt as good as the angel.  Good thing we have another Disney trip in the works or this dog would be in even bigger trouble!

We had scripture study one night and were discussing Words, Works, and Thoughts.  We had everyone write down an example of a good example and bad example of a word, work, and thought.  Morgan was unsure of what a "work" was and asked.  I told her it was an action, something that you did that was good.  And she came up with this.......

Kartwheels!  It cracked me up - not exactly what I was thinking but it did fit what I told her "works" mean!

Cute little Cole

This picture just made me laugh. Debbie and Kendell have told me how Kendell loved to watch tractors and big trucks work. I arrived at my parents house a few weeks ago when they were working on the road. Cole was entertained for quite a while with the big cement truck. Like father like son I guess!

Cole had fun playing in the leaves!

Brigham City Temple Open House -- the kids favorite part was the cookies!!

Tanner is static electricity - Bree is Penelope Cruz dressed up like Jack Sparrow - Cannon is Buzz and he was also Woody!!

We went to Park City over UEA - this is at the Olympic Park.

Our first snowman for the year - he is a tiny bit crooked - but we love him anyway!!

So excited to get this started and to be the first post!   Our October was full of fun, we had an awesome dart tag game, yes it's a good thing Jaxon was wearing his protective eye gear!  We got to see the Jazz players up close and personal!  And my team (football player, basketball player, and cheerleader) got lots of Halloween treats.   Jaxon wants everyone to know that he ran for and was elected into his student government for this quarter.    He had to give a speech in class that he was super nervous about, we were proud of him for even trying, we know it took alot of courage.  Morgan wants everyone to know that she almost has her back handspring.  In fact she was so sure of herself she tried to do it herself on our living room carpet - a severe headache followed if you catch my drift!  We've decided it's best not to try those on the carpet just yet!
